종종 필요하지만, 필요할 때 찾으려면 막상 쉽지 않은 SetCharacterEncodingFilter입니다. 요청 파라미터를 읽기 전에 문자 인코딩을 지정해 두는 용도로 사용합니다.

컴파일과 설정

컴파일은 servlet-api.jarclasspath에 넣고 하시면 됩니다. 단, 이 JAR는 보통 서블릿 컨테이너가 런타임에 제공하므로 애플리케이션의 WEB-INF/lib에 중복해서 넣지 않는 편이 안전합니다.

web.xml에 등록할 때는 인코딩이 필요한 요청보다 먼저 실행되도록 매핑합니다. 특히 request.getParameter()가 한 번 호출된 뒤에는 이미 파라미터가 해석되었을 수 있으므로, 이 필터가 앞단에서 먼저 실행되어야 합니다.

encoding에는 적용할 문자셋을 지정합니다. ignoretrue이면 클라이언트가 보낸 인코딩 정보와 관계없이 지정한 인코딩을 적용하고, false이면 요청에 인코딩이 지정되어 있지 않을 때만 적용합니다.

    6.x 이후에는 org.apache.catalina.filters.SetCharacterEncodingFilter 에 자체 내장되어 있으므로 그냥 가져다 쓰기만 하면 됩니다.
