yum 명령어로 Apache HTTP Server를 설치하고 난 후

1. 개요

리눅스에서 Apache HTTP Server를 설치했습니다. 그런데 yum 명령어로 간단히 설치하였습니다. 이 때, 기본 설정은 어떻게 될까 궁금증이 있어서 확인을 해보았습니다.

2. 내용

다음은 /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf 파일입니다. 주석을 제거한 내용입니다.

이렇게 버전은 2.2.31, 그리고 prefork 방식인 것을 알 수 있습니다.

만약 MPM을 worker 방식으로 바꾸려면 어떻게 해야 할까요? 이는 /etc/sysconfig/httpd 파일에 답이 있습니다.

HTTPD=/usr/sbin/httpd.worker의 주석을 풀어줍니다.

그리고 service httpd restart를 하면 이제 /usr/sbin/httpd가 아니고 /usr/sbin/httpd.worker가 기동됩니다. 다시 확인을 해보면..
